Nickelback Everything Under the Sun Tour 2027: dates and where to stay

Nickelback play 70 shows in 2027: 39 in the US, Canada and Mexico City from February 6 to May 7, 24 in the UK and Europe from May 22 to July 13, and seven in Australia in October. Almost all are arena nights with Don Broco opening. The exceptions: Tampa on February 27 is a headline slot at Hondo Rodeo Fest, and Geelong and Pokolbin are outdoor shows at wine estates. Every stop has rooms near the venue and the trip on.

The Nickelback Everything Under the Sun Tour 2027 guide

Pick a city for the trip

Big cities such as Chicago, Toronto, Montreal, Vancouver and Washington give you the most to do on the days around the show, and the arena is reached by transit or a short walk. Smaller stops such as Allentown and Knoxville suit a trip built around the show alone. You will drive or take a short coach ride, and you will have fewer hotels and fewer late options to choose from.

If you plan a longer trip, the stops that sit close together make the easiest additions. Toronto, Hamilton and Buffalo are a short drive apart, and Detroit is a few hours from Toronto by road. Pairing close stops keeps the travel time low and gives you more than one night out.

Getting to the arenas in Toronto and Montreal

In Toronto, Scotiabank Arena is a short walk from Union Station, the main rail hub, and the Line 1 subway stops at Union. Use the subway to get in and out, and expect the platforms and the trains to be full when the show ends. Leave time to get through the crowd before you judge the ride.

In Montreal, the Bell Centre is beside Lucien-L'Allier station on the Orange line of the metro. The metro is the quickest way in and home, but the stairs and platforms fill up after the show, so the wait is usually longer than the ride.

Getting to the arenas in Chicago, Washington and Boston

The United Center is on the West Side of Chicago. Take the Blue Line to the Illinois Medical District stop and walk from there. Plan the return trip before the show ends, because the platforms fill quickly once the crowd leaves the arena.

In Washington, Capital One Arena is near the Gallery Place-Chinatown station, which is served by the Red, Green and Yellow lines. In Boston, TD Garden is connected to North Station, which has the Orange Line and the commuter rail. Both are good options, and both get crowded after a big show.

Getting to the arenas in Vancouver, Edmonton and Leeds

In Vancouver, Rogers Arena is a short walk from Stadium-Chinatown station on the Expo and Millennium SkyTrain lines. In Edmonton, Rogers Place is a short walk from Churchill station on the Capital line of the LRT. Both stations are the simplest way in, and both are busy at the end of the evening.

In Leeds, the First Direct Bank Arena is a short walk from Leeds railway station. Walk from the station to the arena, and then walk back to catch the last train home.

Where to sleep for a show night

For a show night, stay in the city centre within walking distance of the arena, so you can leave the venue on foot and skip the queues for transit. Rooms in the centre of Toronto, Montreal and Washington cost more on show nights, so book early and compare a hotel one transit stop out from the arena.

In Las Vegas, T-Mobile Arena is on the Strip, so hotels along the Strip are a short walk away. In Vancouver and Edmonton, the downtown hotels near the arena are the simplest choice for a show night.

Moving between shows

When the next stop is far away, a flight is the usual way to get there, because the distances between the US cities and the cities in Canada, the UK and Mexico are too long for a single day by road or rail.

Between close stops, such as Toronto and Hamilton or Toronto and Buffalo, the drive or the coach is the simple option. The border crossing between Canada and the United States takes time, so keep your passport in hand and plan the crossing into the time you allow for the trip.

Fan tips for stadium nights

  • Tampa is a rodeo festival ticket. February 27 at Raymond James Stadium is the Saturday night of Hondo Rodeo Fest (February 26 to 28). Entry is a festival ticket, and Don Broco is not on that bill.
  • Hollywood means Florida. The February 26 show is at Hard Rock Live in Hollywood, Florida, between Fort Lauderdale and Miami. Fort Lauderdale airport is the closest.
  • Winter dates in the north. February and March shows run through the Midwest, the Northeast and Canada, and snow can delay flights and close roads. Saskatoon (April 2) and Edmonton (April 3) are back-to-back nights about 5h apart by road.
  • The Australian winery shows are out of town. Mount Duneed Estate is south of central Geelong, and Roche Estate is in Pokolbin in the Hunter Valley, about 2h30 by car from Sydney. Sort out the ride back before you book a room.
