Tickets
The Emirates FA Cup final is on Saturday 22 May 2027 at Wembley Stadium. The semi-finals on Saturday 24 April decide who plays in it, and the tickets then go through those two clubs: for the 2026 final Wembley's support portal said they were sold via the competing clubs, so there is no neutral sale to join. The FA's ticket terms say a ticket is for your sole use and cannot be resold or transferred without the FA's written consent. Unauthorized sale is a criminal offence under the terms, and a ticket obtained in breach is void, with no refund. In 2026 the match was sold out, and tickets were non-transferable.
For scale, in 2016 the FA raised each finalist's allocation to 28,650 tickets, about 80% of the seats available to fans, and put about 8,000 through the county FAs, mostly to reward people working in grassroots football.
Hospitality is separate. Wembley says hospitality seats and lounges for all finals are reserved exclusively for its memberships and guests, and it does not sell individual packages for the final.
What match day looks like
The FA has not announced the 2027 kick-off. For the 2026 final it confirmed the 3pm start on 23 April. These are the 2026 timings, from Wembley Stadium's final page, and the club fan zones will be set again once the finalists are known:
The 2026 match-day timetable
Wembley recommended arriving 60 to 90 minutes before kick-off for security checks. Each club had its own fan zone from 11:00: East Concourse for Chelsea and Arena Square, on the west side, for Manchester City. Both sold alcohol until 14:00, one hour before kick-off, and closed at 14:30. Have the barcode or QR code of your ticket ready at the turnstile, and use the entry for your color zone.
Getting to Wembley Stadium
Three stations serve the ground, per Wembley's 2026 page. Wembley Stadium station is about 400 m (4 minutes) away, one stop from London Marylebone on Chiltern Railways. Wembley Park is about 1,000 m (9 minutes), on the Metropolitan and Jubilee lines. Wembley Central is about 12 minutes on foot, on the Bakerloo line and London Overground. Wembley asks rail passengers to reach the stations at least an hour before kick-off. National Express is the official coach partner.
Driving needs a plan: event-day parking must be pre-booked through Wembley Official Parking, or you will not be admitted to the car parks. The postcode is HA9 0WS. Visitors who need a UK ETA should have it before they fly: see UK ETA, explained.
Where to sleep
Stay at Wembley if you want to walk home: all three stations are within about 12 minutes of the ground. Marylebone gives you the one-stop Chiltern train to Wembley Stadium station and puts you in central London. Anywhere on the Jubilee line, which stops at Wembley Park, works as well. Where to stay in London compares the main areas, and London in 3 days fills the days around the match.
