Where to go in March: destinations and events

March is spring in several places at once, but each one changes at its own pace. Japan's cherry blossom season starts in March, with the earliest blooms in the south. Bhutan's rhododendrons flower in the spring months, and Morocco and Jordan have mild spring weather. March also brings Las Fallas in Valencia, Holi in India and St Patrick's Festival in Dublin, so you can plan a trip around one event rather than a region.
