Do you need a visa?

How this tool works

We read the official notice for each pair and record the date. Nothing here is generated; a pair with no written check is not shown.

How we check

Visa required. Portuguese passport holders need a visa to enter Egypt.

A tourist visa allows an initial stay of 30 days. Apply on arrival at an Egyptian international airport for a single-entry visa, paying USD 36 in cash in foreign currency, or apply online at the official portal at least 7 days before departure; an approved e-visa must be printed and presented with the passport. The passport must be valid for at least 6 months from entry. Authorities may request itinerary and accommodation proof, and a visa does not guarantee admission.
