Do you need a visa?

How this tool works

We read the official notice for each pair and record the date. Nothing here is generated; a pair with no written check is not shown.

How we check

Visa needed, on arrival or online. Spanish passport holders can use Egypt's e-visa or visa on arrival.

Spain's foreign ministry says Spanish ordinary-passport holders need a visa, bought at the airport, port or land border for US$30 (or the euro equivalent) for 30 days and one entry, or online on the e-visa portal. The portal asks you to apply at least 7 days before departure and charges US$30 for a single entry or US$65 for multiple entries. Travelers who enter directly through Sinai and stay no further than St Catherine need no visa but pay a US$25 fee, according to Spain's ministry.
