Do you need a visa?

How this tool works

We read the official notice for each pair and record the date. Nothing here is generated; a pair with no written check is not shown.

How we check

Visa required. Portuguese passport holders need a visa before traveling to Russia.

Apply in advance through the Russian consular services in your country of residence; a visa on arrival is not available. Portuguese citizens can apply online for a single-entry e-visa for tourism, business, or humanitarian purposes, at least 4 days before entry; it costs USD 52 and allows a stay of up to 16 days from entry. The passport must be valid for at least 6 months after the planned return date. Register with the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs through your host within 7 working days of arrival.
