How we check

Visa required. Austrian passport holders need a visa to visit Russia.

A visa is required for all passport categories. Apply through the Russian embassy or online for a paid, single-entry e-visa for tourism and other listed purposes. The e-visa is valid for a specified number of stay days within a specified period, and is limited to certain border crossings. The passport must be valid for at least 6 months after the visa expires.
