The Oasis Live '27 guide

Choosing between city stops and field stops

Most stops are stadiums inside a city, so the choice is mostly about the trip around the show. Manchester has the most nights, so it gives the most dates to pick from.

Barcelona's stadium sits on Montjuïc, so take the metro to Espanya or Paral·lel, then the Montjuïc funicular from Paral·lel for the last climb. Rome and Glasgow are city breaks in their own right, with a centre you can stay in and walk around.

Slane Castle and Knebworth Park are different. Each sits outside a small place, so the night itself is the whole trip. Plan the way out before you book, and use a base in a larger city if the nearby towns have few beds.

Manchester: the Etihad Campus tram

Take the Metrolink tram to Etihad Campus from Piccadilly, the main city centre hub. The ride from the centre is short, and the tram is the usual way in and out, so stay in the city centre near Piccadilly.

After the show, the tram platforms fill fast. Expect a wait and a crowded tram. If you want to skip the queue, walk a few stops toward the city or eat before the gates open.

Munich: the U6 to Fröttmaning

Take the U6 to Fröttmaning from the centre. The ride from central Munich takes about twenty minutes, and the station is a walk from the Allianz Arena.

Sleep near the central station or in the old town, so the U-Bahn is a single line home. After the show, trains are packed, so leave early or be ready to queue on the platform.

Amsterdam: metro to Bijlmer ArenA

Take the metro to Bijlmer ArenA on lines 50 and 54. From the centre the ride takes about twenty minutes. Stay near Centraal Station, so the metro is one trip with no change.

The same two lines carry the crowd back after the show, so plan to wait on the platform for the first rush to pass.

Saint-Denis: RER D from Paris

Take the RER D to Stade de France Saint-Denis from Gare du Nord or Châtelet-Les Halles. Stay in central Paris, where the RER D and metro lines are easy to use, and check the stop on the map before you travel.

After the show, the RER platforms are crowded. Leave before the end of the set if you want a seat.

Las Vegas and Foxborough: plan around a car

Gillette Stadium is in Foxborough, outside Boston, and most people drive or take a coach. The organizer publishes the shuttle and coach details for the show, so check those before you book a hotel. Sleep in Boston, which is the nearest large city.

Allegiant Stadium sits off the south end of the Strip. Stay on the Strip, where rideshare and taxi pickups are the usual way to the gates, and expect long waits after the show.

Slane and Knebworth: the field stops

Slane Castle is in County Meath, reached from Dublin by road. The organizer publishes the shuttle and coach details, so use those rather than a taxi from the city. Dublin is the base for most trips to Slane.

Knebworth Park has its own station on the East Coast Main Line, with trains from King's Cross that take under an hour. Stay in London or in a town near the park, and allow time for the walk and the rail queue after the show.

Moving between stops

Trains link the UK and European stops, so you can move between cities such as Manchester, Glasgow, Paris and Amsterdam by rail. Flights cover the trips across the Atlantic to Boston and Las Vegas.

Between Slane and Dublin, and between Knebworth and London, the usual move is the same as the way in: the shuttle or the train, booked before you travel.

Fan tips for stadium nights

  • Resale is the only way in. The official Oasis site says every show has sold out. Face-value resale runs through Ticketmaster and Twickets nearer the dates. Book rooms with free cancellation until you hold a ticket.
  • Manchester has 11 nights in three weeks. The Etihad Stadium shows run from 4 to 26 June, so central Manchester rooms stay in demand for most of the month. The stadium has its own tram stop, Etihad Campus, on the Metrolink line from Piccadilly towards Ashton.
  • Three venues sit outside the big city. Stade de France is in Saint-Denis, just north of Paris, on RER lines B and D. Slane Castle is in County Meath, about an hour's drive north-west of Dublin. Knebworth Park is next to Stevenage, which has fast trains from London King's Cross.
  • Foxborough is 22 miles from Boston. Gillette Stadium is in Foxborough, about 22 miles southwest of Boston. A room in Boston means a drive or a ride back after the show; rooms near the stadium save it.
