The 2027 dates and the sale
Glastonbury runs from Wednesday 23 to Sunday 27 June 2027 at Worthy Farm in Pilton, Somerset. There is no festival in 2026: the farm rests for a year, and the organisers announced the 2027 dates on 25 September 2025. The gates open on Wednesday 23 June.
Anyone aged 13 or over on 23 June 2027 had to register to buy. Registration closed at 5pm BST on Friday 25 September 2026. Coach packages went on sale at 6pm BST on Thursday 1 October, and general admission at 9am BST on Sunday 4 October through See Tickets, with a virtual queue. General admission sold out in under 45 minutes, and the coach packages sold out in less than half an hour.
What a ticket costs
General admission was £100, including a £5 booking fee per ticket, plus postage of £11.25 per order (£3 for coach tickets). That is £29.50 more than in 2025. Buyers paid a £100 deposit per person at the time of sale, plus the coach fare if they booked coach travel. The £308 balance, plus postage, is payable from 9am BST on 1 April to 11:59pm BST on 7 April 2027. Car parking and cancellation protection can be added at that point. Up to six tickets could be bought in one transaction.
Every ticket is non-transferable. It carries the photo of the registered holder, and security checks make sure only that person gets in. Coach tickets cannot be exchanged for general admission, and you must travel on the coach you booked.
If you missed out: the resale
Tickets that are returned, or forfeited because the balance is not paid, go into a resale in spring 2027 exclusively through See Tickets. The exact date has not been announced. Time Out expects it in late April, following the same process as the October sale, which means you need to be registered to join the queue, and it expects a limit of four tickets per buyer, down from six. Do not book non-refundable travel or rooms until you hold a ticket.
Registration is closed and cannot be edited or resubmitted until after the October sales. Anyone who registered and wants the resale queue should check that their registration, and photo, are still current.
Getting there
National Express runs coaches from more than 90 locations, and the Festival Coach Station is by Pedestrian Gate A. Coach tickets for 2027 are sold out. The festival also runs regular free shuttle buses between Castle Cary railway station and the site throughout the festival. Bikes cannot be ridden on site, but there are lock-ups outside Pedestrian Gate A.
Car park passes cost £60, plus £3 postage if bought separately. They are available when you pay your balance in the first week of April and are for general admission ticket holders only, not coach ticket holders. The Worthy View and Sticklinch car parks need their own passes, and Blue Badge parking costs £60 and requires an Access Application.
For the campervan fields, the East Campervan one-way exit runs from 2pm on Sunday 27 June until 9pm on Monday 28 June, and no vehicles can enter the fields during that time. Self-driven campervans and caravans must be clear of the East and Bath and West fields by 6pm on Monday.
Camping and where to sleep
A standard ticket includes five nights of camping, with no early-entry fee. Campervan and caravan tickets, on sale later in the autumn, cost £225 for a standard pitch or £350 for a large one, and vehicles need fitted sleeping, washing or cooking facilities. Tipis, which sleep up to six adults, cost £2,000 to hire, and guests still need their own tickets and their own bedding. A campervan site at the Bath and West Showground has a free shuttle running 24 hours a day to the Festival Bus Station.
Rules and age policy
Fireworks, flying lanterns, drones, flares and burning plastics are not permitted. Animals are allowed only if they are registered guide or assistance dogs. Chairs, buggies and trolleys must stay out of busy areas and off the front of stages. Smoking and vaping are banned in enclosed public areas, including tents. You may be searched on entry, and declining a search can mean refusal without a refund. Reusable bottles can be refilled free at taps and WaterAid kiosks, and the festival counts more than 800 water points.
Everyone aged 13 or over needs a ticket and individual registration. Children aged 12 and under need neither. Under-16s must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over, and 13 to 15 year olds book the Teen ticket. Ages 16 and 17 can attend unaccompanied, though a parent's consent is strongly advised. "Challenge 21" applies to alcohol: if you look under 21, you need ID or a wristband.
Access applications close on 12 May 2027, and the Accessible Campsite is at Spring Ground. There are no separate access tickets: buy a standard ticket, then request the form from the Accessibility Team.
