Do you need a visa?

How this tool works

We read the official notice for each pair and record the date. Nothing here is generated; a pair with no written check is not shown.

How we check

ETA required. Portuguese passport holders need an ETA before traveling to Sri Lanka.

Travelers must obtain an ETA before starting their journey; it is valid for up to 30 days. If the ETA portal has technical problems, the page advises applying through the alternative link and presenting ETA proof at immigration on arrival at Bandaranaike International Airport, where the appropriate ETA will be issued after verification. A passport valid for at least 6 months after entry, a return ticket, and proof of means of subsistence may be checked at arrival.
