Do you need a visa?

How this tool works

We read the official notice for each pair and record the date. Nothing here is generated; a pair with no written check is not shown.

How we check

Free ETA required. Spanish passport holders need a Sri Lanka ETA, free since 25 May 2026.

Spain is on the official list of 40 countries whose citizens get the tourist ETA free of charge, but it is still required before arrival. Apply only on the official eta.gov.lk site. The Spanish foreign ministry (advice valid on 5 October 2026) also asks for a return ticket and proof of means of support at the border.
