Do you need a visa?

How this tool works

We read the official notice for each pair and record the date. Nothing here is generated; a pair with no written check is not shown.

How we check

No visa. British passport holders visit the Dominican Republic without a visa for tourism, for up to 30 days.

GOV.UK says UK passport holders can visit for tourism without a visa for 30 days and can pay to extend the stay up to 120 days. Until 31 December 2026 the passport only needs to stay valid for the duration of the visit, and rules may change after that date. You must complete the entry and exit form up to 7 days before you arrive.
