Do you need a visa?

How this tool works

We read the official notice for each pair and record the date. Nothing here is generated; a pair with no written check is not shown.

How we check

No visa. Canadian passport holders visit the Dominican Republic without a visa for tourism, for up to 30 days.

The Government of Canada says tourists need no visa for up to 30 days and must complete the e-Ticket before boarding, with a new one for every trip. Until December 31, 2026, Canadians can enter for tourism with a passport valid for the duration of their stay; otherwise 6 months after arrival is required. You may need to show proof of funds, your accommodation address and an onward ticket.
