How we checkNo visa. Spanish citizens can enter Ireland with a valid DNI or passport.
The Spanish foreign ministry says Spanish citizens can travel freely to Ireland without a visa, with only a valid DNI or passport. Ireland is outside Schengen, so travelers from Spain go through passport control on arrival. A valid passport is needed to go on to the UK, which also requires an ETA unless you live in Ireland.
