Do you need a visa?

How this tool works

We read the official notice for each pair and record the date. Nothing here is generated; a pair with no written check is not shown.

How we check

No visa. Canadian passport holders can visit Ireland without a visa for up to 90 days.

The Government of Canada lists a tourist visa as not required for stays up to 90 days, and says your passport must be valid for the expected duration of your stay. Customs officials may ask for a return or onward ticket and proof of sufficient funds. Ireland is in the EU but not in the Schengen area.
