Do US passport holders need a visa for Cyprus?

Covers 11 passports and 80 destinations. Rules older than 30 days are flagged for re-check.

Do you need a visa?

How this tool works

We read the official notice for each pair and record the date. Nothing here is generated; a pair with no written check is not shown.

How we check

No visa. US passport holders visit Cyprus visa-free for 90 days or less.

The US State Department's page says no visa is required for stays of 90 days or less; longer stays need a temporary residency visa. If you plan to transit a Schengen country, your passport should be valid for at least 3 months beyond your stay. Enter and exit the Republic of Cyprus only at Larnaca and Paphos airports and the seaports of Limassol, Larnaca and Paphos.
