Do British passport holders need a visa for Cyprus?
Covers 11 passports and 80 destinations. Rules older than 30 days are flagged for re-check.
How this tool works
We read the official notice for each pair and record the date. Nothing here is generated; a pair with no written check is not shown.
How we checkNo visa. British passport holders can visit Cyprus for up to 90 days without a visa.
Cyprus is in the EU but not in Schengen, so visits do not count toward your Schengen 90 days and Schengen days do not count toward Cyprus. GOV.UK says the EES does not apply in Cyprus, and border officers may ask for a return or onward ticket and proof of enough money. The Republic counts time spent in the north of Cyprus toward the 90 days.
