Do Australian passport holders need a visa for Cyprus?
Covers 11 passports and 80 destinations. Rules older than 30 days are flagged for re-check.
How this tool works
We read the official notice for each pair and record the date. Nothing here is generated; a pair with no written check is not shown.
How we checkNo visa. Australian passport holders can stay in Cyprus up to 90 days in a 6-month period without a tourist visa.
Smartraveller says you must apply for a visa to stay longer, and that overstaying can lead to a stop-list entry and refused re-entry for up to five years. The only legal ports of entry are in the government-controlled south; leaving through an illegal exit port in the north is not recognized as a legal exit. Officials might refuse entry if they have concerns about previous or planned travel to the north.
