Do British passport holders need a visa for Lebanon?

Covers 11 passports and 80 destinations. Rules older than 30 days are flagged for re-check.

Do you need a visa?

How this tool works

We read the official notice for each pair and record the date. Nothing here is generated; a pair with no written check is not shown.

How we check

Visa on arrival, free. British citizens can normally get a single-entry tourist visa at Beirut airport.

The visa is valid for one month from entry and can be extended for up to three months at General Security offices; you can also get one from the Lebanese Embassy in London, possibly with a different validity. FCDO advises against all travel or all but essential travel to parts of Lebanon, and your travel insurance could be invalid there.
