Do French passport holders need a visa for Lebanon?

Covers 11 passports and 80 destinations. Rules older than 30 days are flagged for re-check.

Do you need a visa?

How this tool works

We read the official notice for each pair and record the date. Nothing here is generated; a pair with no written check is not shown.

How we check

Visa required. French passport holders receive a short-stay visa on arrival in Lebanon.

A 1-month short-stay visa is issued on arrival and is renewable. Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months after the date of entry. For a stay longer than 2 months, the page recommends applying in France at the competent Lebanese consulate before departure, as in-country regularization is not systematic.
