Do German passport holders need a visa for Lebanon?

Covers 11 passports and 80 destinations. Rules older than 30 days are flagged for re-check.

Do you need a visa?

How this tool works

We read the official notice for each pair and record the date. Nothing here is generated; a pair with no written check is not shown.

How we check

Visa on arrival, free. German passport holders can get a tourist visa at the airport for stays of up to one month.

Visas can also be requested beforehand from Lebanese missions. Overstaying by more than a month can stop you leaving, and travelers with signs of a previous stay in Israel, such as stamps or Jordanian or Egyptian exit stamps from crossings with Israel, are regularly turned back.
