How this tool works

We read the official notice for each pair and record the date. Nothing here is generated; a pair with no written check is not shown.

ESTA required. Irish passport holders need an approved ESTA before traveling to the United States for tourism.

Irish citizens traveling to the United States must have a valid ESTA or US visa. Apply for an ESTA before travel; the Department of Homeland Security recommends applying at least 72 hours in advance. An approved ESTA is valid for multiple entries, generally for up to 2 years or until the passport expires, whichever comes first. An Irish passport needs to be valid for the duration of the stay.
