Do you need a visa?

How this tool works

We read the official notice for each pair and record the date. Nothing here is generated; a pair with no written check is not shown.

How we check

No visa. French passport holders can visit Kosovo for up to 90 days in a 6-month period.

French citizens may enter with a valid French passport or national identity card and stay 90 days in a 6-month period without other formalities. Since March 15, 2026, visitors must declare their place of residence within 3 days of entering Kosovo. The declaration can be made at the border, at the nearest police station, online, or through the Foreign registration app. Local police may ask for proof of accommodation, an invitation, or financial resources.
