Do you need a visa?

How this tool works

We read the official notice for each pair and record the date. Nothing here is generated; a pair with no written check is not shown.

How we check

No visa. Canadian passport holders need no tourist visa for stays up to 90 days in any 180-day period.

Travel.gc.ca says a tourist visa is not required for stays up to 90 days in any 180-day period, and that a regular Canadian passport must be valid for the expected duration of your stay. You must register your presence; commercial accommodation generally files it for you, and private stays are registered at the nearest police station on arrival. Customs may ask for a return or onward ticket and proof of funds.
