Slipknot (sic)est Stadium Tour 2027: dates and where to stay

Slipknot play 19 stadium and park shows in summer 2027. Wembley Stadium in London on July 3 is the only European date; 13 follow in the US and Canada from July 16 to August 18, then five in South America in September. São Paulo is a slot at The Town festival. After London, shows are two to four days apart, which leaves time for a second night in most cities. Every date below has rooms near the venue and the trip on to the next city.

The Slipknot (sic)est Stadium Tour 2027 guide

Pick a stop by the trip you want

The tour plays 19 nights in Jul 3 – Sep 16, 2027, one night at each stop. That makes the choice a question of trip shape. A stop in a big city gives you a hotel, a meal and a metro ride before the gates. A stop outside a small town means a field, a shuttle and a return trip you have to plan before the show.

If you already travel to London, Montreal, Boston or Chicago, a show there is the easiest to add. The South American stops are spread across Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Peru and Colombia, so one of them fits best into a trip that already covers that region.

London: Wembley Stadium

Wembley Park station, on the Metropolitan and Jubilee lines, is the stop most people use for Wembley Stadium. From central London it is a direct ride on the Jubilee line, and the walk from the station to the stadium is short.

Expect long queues at Wembley Park after the show. Wembley Central, on the Bakerloo line and London Overground, is the other station within walking distance of the stadium. Rooms around Wembley Park cost more on show nights, so many people stay in central London and take the Jubilee line in the evening.

Washington and Queens: ballpark stops

Nationals Park in Washington is reached by the Navy Yard-Ballpark station, served by the Green and Yellow lines. Plan the ride back before the final out, because the platforms fill quickly once the crowd leaves.

Citi Field in Queens is reached by the 7 train to Mets-Willets Point, or by the Long Island Rail Road from the same station. The trains after the show are crowded, so allow extra time to get into the station.

Montreal: Parc Jean-Drapeau on the island

Jean-Drapeau station on the Yellow line sits on the island where the park is. From downtown Montreal the metro is the simplest way in, and it is also the main way out after the show.

Expect the platforms and the trains to fill at the end of the night. Staying downtown and taking the metro both ways keeps the trip simple.

Chicago and Boston: city stadiums

At Soldier Field in Chicago, the Roosevelt station on the Red, Orange and Green lines is a short walk from the stadium. Staying near the Loop and taking the train in is the usual choice for a show night.

Fenway Park in Boston is a short walk from Kenmore station on the Green Line. Back Bay and the Kenmore area are the usual places to stay, and rooms there cost more on show nights.

Hershey and the stops outside cities

Hersheypark Stadium is outside Hershey, a small town, so the trip works differently from the city stops. The organizer publishes the shuttle and coach details for the show, so check those before you book the flight or the car.

Choose where you sleep before you choose the seat. A small town fills quickly on show nights, so book early and plan the drive back.

Moving between shows

The usual way from one stop to the next is a flight. Between continents the gaps are long, so a rest day after a long journey helps before the show.

Within North America, pick stops that connect through the same airport or region, and leave a day between shows so a delayed flight does not cost you a night.

Fan tips for stadium nights

  • São Paulo needs a festival ticket. The September 4 show is part of The Town festival, so entry is a festival ticket for that day, sold by the festival.
  • Several stops are suburbs. Commerce City is northeast of downtown Denver, SoFi Stadium in Inglewood is next to LAX, Citi Field is in Queens on the 7 train, and Hershey is east of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.
  • Two shows are in parks. Montreal is at Parc Jean-Drapeau, on an island in the St. Lawrence reached by the yellow metro line, and San Francisco is in Golden Gate Park. Both are open-air, and San Francisco evenings in August are often foggy and cool.
  • Bogotá is high and cool. The city sits at about 2,600 m, so evenings are cool all year. Bring a layer for the walk out of Vive Claro on September 16.
