Do you need a visa?

How this tool works

We read the official notice for each pair and record the date. Nothing here is generated; a pair with no written check is not shown.

How we check

No visa. US passport holders visit Türkiye visa-free for up to 90 days in any 180.

The Turkish foreign ministry lists US ordinary passport holders as exempt from a visa for up to 90 days in any 180-day period. The passport must expire at least 60 days beyond your stay, and the ministry advises 6 months. Work and study need a visa from a Turkish embassy or consulate. The US State Department's page (Last Updated June 11, 2026) asks for 6 months' validity beyond your arrival date and 1 blank page per stamp.
