Do you need a visa?

How this tool works

We read the official notice for each pair and record the date. Nothing here is generated; a pair with no written check is not shown.

How we check

Visa required. British passport holders need a visa for Azerbaijan, normally a single-entry ASAN e-visa applied for online.

FCDO says to apply for the e-visa at least 3 days in advance, with an urgent 3-hour service for an extra fee. It is normally single entry and allows a 30-day visit within a 90-day validity; print it and show it with your passport on arrival. Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months after you arrive. The official portal charges $20 plus a $9 service fee and the e-visa carries a single entry; the portal asks for a passport valid 3 months beyond the e-visa's expiry, so follow the stricter rule.
