Do you need a visa?

How this tool works

We read the official notice for each pair and record the date. Nothing here is generated; a pair with no written check is not shown.

How we check

Visa required. Portuguese passport holders need a valid visa to enter India for tourism.

A visa is required, and the visa type must match the purpose of travel. Portuguese passport holders can apply online for an e-visa, submit the application 4 to 120 days before departure, and pay the applicable fees. The e-visa is available for tourism and requires a passport valid for at least 6 months after arrival with 3 blank pages. Present the electronic travel authorization at the departure and arrival airports; the immigration stamp determines the stay granted.
