Do you need a visa?

How this tool works

We read the official notice for each pair and record the date. Nothing here is generated; a pair with no written check is not shown.

How we check

Visa required. Irish passport holders need a visa to visit India.

Irish citizens need a visa unless they hold an OCI card. Tourist visas and e-visas are available; check eligibility and restrictions, and allow plenty of time for processing. Complete the e-arrival card online up to 72 hours before arrival; it is not a visa. Irish passports must be valid for at least 6 months and have 2 blank pages.
