Do you need a visa?

How this tool works

We read the official notice for each pair and record the date. Nothing here is generated; a pair with no written check is not shown.

How we check

No visa. Portuguese passport holders can visit China visa-free for up to 30 days for tourism.

The exemption applies to tourism, business, family visits, transit, and academic exchanges, and is extended through December 31, 2026. It applies only to holders of ordinary biometric passports. Carry documents proving the purpose of your stay. On arrival, foreign nationals aged 14 to 70 must register fingerprints and complete an Arrival Card.
