Do you need a visa?

How this tool works

We read the official notice for each pair and record the date. Nothing here is generated; a pair with no written check is not shown.

How we check

No visa. Austrian ordinary passport holders can visit China for tourism for up to 30 days.

Visa-free entry is available for tourist visits of up to 30 days, through December 31, 2026. The arrival card must be completed upon entry. The passport must be valid for the planned stay. Foreigners must register with the local Public Security Bureau within 24 hours of each entry; hotels handle registration for their guests.
