Do you need a visa?

How this tool works

We read the official notice for each pair and record the date. Nothing here is generated; a pair with no written check is not shown.

How we check

No visa. Portuguese passport holders can visit Belize for tourism for less than 30 days without an entry visa.

A visa is not required for a tourist trip of less than 30 days. For stays over 30 days, request a Belize Visitor’s Permit Extension from immigration authorities; the extension costs BZD 200 per additional month and can extend the stay by up to 6 months. Visitors must show a passport valid for the stay and for at least 3 months after departure, onward travel, a hotel reservation, and sufficient funds.
