Do you need a visa?

How this tool works

We read the official notice for each pair and record the date. Nothing here is generated; a pair with no written check is not shown.

How we check

Visa required. Irish passport holders need a visa before traveling to Vietnam.

Irish tourists staying less than 90 days should apply for a single- or multiple-entry e-visa through Vietnam Immigration’s official eVisa portal. Tourist visas cannot be extended, and they do not allow paid or volunteer work, missionary work, or other non-tourism activities. Travelers entering at Tân Sơn Nhất International Airport must also complete a Digital Pre-Arrival Form, up to 48 hours before entry or upon arrival.
