Do you need a visa?

How this tool works

We read the official notice for each pair and record the date. Nothing here is generated; a pair with no written check is not shown.

How we check

No visa. French passport holders can visit Vietnam for up to 45 days without a visa.

French nationals are exempt from a visa for stays of up to 45 days, including the days of entry and exit, regardless of passport type or purpose of stay. The passport must be valid for at least 6 months on the date of entry. The exemption cannot be extended or renewed in Vietnam.
