Do you need a visa?

How this tool works

We read the official notice for each pair and record the date. Nothing here is generated; a pair with no written check is not shown.

How we check

Visa required. Austrian passport holders need a visa to visit Vietnam for up to 90 days.

A multiple-entry e-visa allows a stay of up to 90 days. Apply online or through the Vietnamese embassy; the page says to apply at the embassy several weeks before travel. Bring a printout of the e-visa approved by the Vietnamese authorities. Your passport must be valid for at least 1 month longer than the visa.
