Do you need a visa?

How this tool works

We read the official notice for each pair and record the date. Nothing here is generated; a pair with no written check is not shown.

How we check

Visa required. Irish passport holders need a visa to travel to Belarus, except for qualifying stays entering and leaving through Minsk airport.

Irish citizens generally require a visa. A visa is not required for a stay of no more than 30 days if you enter and leave Belarus through Minsk airport. A visa must be obtained if traveling to Belarus from the Russian Federation or traveling directly onward to the Russian Federation. For visa details, contact the Embassy of Belarus in London. Stays longer than 3 days must be registered with the local police, unless staying in a hotel, which registers guests.
