Do Canadian passport holders need a visa for Belarus?

Covers 11 passports and 80 destinations. Rules older than 30 days are flagged for re-check.

Do you need a visa?

How this tool works

We read the official notice for each pair and record the date. Nothing here is generated; a pair with no written check is not shown.

How we check

No visa for up to 30 days. Canadians can enter Belarus visa-free if they fly into certain airports, including Minsk National Airport.

Canada says the visa-free period cannot be extended and the conditions do not apply to flights from or to Russia. You must show proof of sufficient funds and medical insurance of at least 10,000 euros. Canada advises avoiding all travel to Belarus, and local authorities may deny entry with no reason given.
