Do Australian passport holders need a visa for Belarus?

Covers 11 passports and 80 destinations. Rules older than 30 days are flagged for re-check.

Do you need a visa?

How this tool works

We read the official notice for each pair and record the date. Nothing here is generated; a pair with no written check is not shown.

How we check

No visa for up to 30 days, by air only. Australians can enter Belarus visa-free through certain airports until 31 December 2026.

Smartraveller says the 30-day arrangement, capped at 90 days per calendar year, is valid only through Minsk National Airport and the Brest, Vitebsk, Gomel and Mogilev airports. Road or rail entry, or a longer stay, needs a visa, and an e-visa service exists. Australia says do not travel to Belarus.
