Do you need a visa?

How this tool works

We read the official notice for each pair and record the date. Nothing here is generated; a pair with no written check is not shown.

How we check

No visa. Canadian passport holders visit Taiwan visa-free for up to 90 days.

Visa-exempt entry covers tourism, visiting family or friends and business meetings. You need a confirmed return or onward ticket and must complete the free online Taiwan Arrival Card (TWAC) within seven days before you land. The Bureau lists the stay as extendable up to 180 days, so check its separate notice for Canadian passport holders.
