Covers 11 passports and 80 destinations. Rules older than 30 days are flagged for re-check.

Do you need a visa?

How this tool works

We read the official notice for each pair and record the date. Nothing here is generated; a pair with no written check is not shown.

How we check

No visa. Australian passport holders visit Taiwan visa-free for up to 90 days.

Visa-exempt entry covers tourism, visiting family or friends and business meetings. You need a confirmed return or onward ticket and must complete the free online Taiwan Arrival Card (TWAC) within seven days before you land. Smartraveller adds that you cannot use the scheme with a criminal record or an emergency passport.
