Latvia is in the Schengen area, so the 90 days are shared with every other Schengen country. At your first crossing you register in the EES with a face scan and fingerprints instead of a passport stamp. Latvia's Electronic Travel Declaration is not required of Canadian citizens, because the official site lists them as exempt. Latvia has no temporary internal border controls on the European Commission list, but Poland checks its land border with Lithuania until 30 March 2027, so carry your passport toward Poland.
