Do you need a visa?

How this tool works

We read the official notice for each pair and record the date. Nothing here is generated; a pair with no written check is not shown.

How we check

No visa. Spanish citizens can enter Latvia with a passport or a national ID card (DNI).

Latvia is an EU and Schengen member, so Spanish citizens cross without a visa and are not registered in the EES. The Spanish foreign ministry says EU citizens can enter Latvia with a passport or DNI for the whole of its validity. Latvia's Electronic Travel Declaration does not apply to Spanish citizens, who are on the exempt list at eta.gov.lv.
