Do you need a visa?

How this tool works

We read the official notice for each pair and record the date. Nothing here is generated; a pair with no written check is not shown.

How we check

No visa in advance. Australian passport holders are entitled to apply for a visa on arrival.

Smartraveller says the type of visa depends on your country of residence and the purpose of travel, and that Qatari authorities will not issue a visa in an emergency passport. Stays of more than 30 days need health insurance from a company approved by the Ministry of Public Health, which Smartraveller prices at QAR 50 a month.
