Do German passport holders need a visa for Qatar?

Covers 11 passports and 80 destinations. Rules older than 30 days are flagged for re-check.

Do you need a visa?

How this tool works

We read the official notice for each pair and record the date. Nothing here is generated; a pair with no written check is not shown.

How we check

No visa in advance. German passport holders can get a free visa waiver on arrival.

The Foreign Office says a regular passport can get a visa waiver at entry valid for 180 days, for multiple entries and a stay of up to 90 days within that period. You must show proof of the purpose of travel, accommodation and a return or onward flight, and holders of interim passports need a visa in advance. Other governments quote 30 days for their citizens, so confirm your length at the border.
