Do Australian passport holders need a visa for Moldova?
Covers 11 passports and 80 destinations. Rules older than 30 days are flagged for re-check.
How this tool works
We read the official notice for each pair and record the date. Nothing here is generated; a pair with no written check is not shown.
How we checkNo visa. Australian passport holders can visit Moldova without a visa for up to 90 days within a 6-month period.
Smartraveller says you do not need a visa if you visit for up to 90 days within a 6-month period, and longer stays need a visa. Border authorities register your entry automatically unless you enter through Transnistria, where your passport will not show a valid entry stamp, which may cause problems when you leave. If you overstay, authorities may deport you. Moldova's foreign ministry also lists Australia as visa-exempt.
