Do you need a visa?

How this tool works

We read the official notice for each pair and record the date. Nothing here is generated; a pair with no written check is not shown.

How we check

Tourist card needed on arrival. Australian passport holders can visit Guatemala for up to 90 days.

Smartraveller says a tourist stay is permitted for up to 90 days and that you need a visa only if you are not a tourist or plan to stay longer. Guatemala's migration institute also lists Australia among visa-exempt countries. Smartraveller mentions buying a tourist card at the airport, which UK and Spanish advice do not; Spain says entry is not subject to any payment, so confirm at the airport.
