Do you need a visa?

How this tool works

We read the official notice for each pair and record the date. Nothing here is generated; a pair with no written check is not shown.

How we check

No visa. US passport holders are on Guatemala's visa-exempt list.

Guatemala's migration institute publishes a country classification headed "Exento de visa" (Category A) that names the United States of America. The 90-day CA-4 limit for visa-exempt tourists comes from UK, Canadian, German and Spanish advice, and the officer at your first entry point sets the exact period. The US State Department's Guatemala page (Last Updated June 11, 2026) agrees on the 90-day stay and the electronic form, and asks for a passport valid at entry.
