The building combines traditional Islamic forms with local Taiwanese influences. Its green dome rises above a structure covering more than 2,700 square metres; the dome is reported to reach 15 metres in height. A minaret is another prominent part of the exterior.

Inside, Persian rugs, chandeliers and arches shape the prayer spaces. The complex includes a reception hall, library, offices and an ablution hall, as well as separate prayer halls for women and men.
