    Wild Wadi Waterpark Jumeirah

Plan a visit to Wild Wadi Waterpark in Dubai, with more than 30 rides, the Jumeirah Sceirah slide, Breakers Bay and views of the Burj Al Arab.

Wild Wadi Waterpark is an outdoor water park in Jumeirah, opposite the Burj Al Arab. Its Arabian folklore theme centres on Juha, with more than 30 rides and attractions for children and adults. Take on the steep Jumeirah Sceirah slide, catch waves at Breakers Bay or slow down on the lazy river. The park also has a children’s play area, restaurants and places to rest. Burj Al Arab views add a striking backdrop between rides, and the range of high-energy and calmer attractions suits families and groups with mixed tastes.

A water park themed around Juha

Wild Wadi is in Jumeirah, opposite the Burj Al Arab and close to Jumeirah Beach Hotel. The park’s theme draws on Juha, a character from Arabian folklore. Its rides range from fast slides to wave pools and a lazy river, so a group can split between high-speed thrills and a slower swim or float.

The park opened in 1999 and was the first themed water park in the region. More than 30 rides and attractions fill its outdoor setting, including a dedicated play area for children. The Burj Al Arab is visible from within the park, giving the water rides a distinctly Jumeirah backdrop.

Slides, waves and a slower river

Jumeirah Sceirah is the park’s signature high-speed slide. It is a steep plunge for visitors looking for a more intense ride. For a calmer stretch, Juha’s Journey is a lazy river, while Breakers Bay is the wave pool. The park also has surfing attractions, including the Riptide FlowRider.

Families can mix these larger attractions with the children’s play area. One family visit noted that a child measuring 120 centimetres could join adults on many rides, though ride access depends on each attraction’s requirements. Check the rules for individual rides before planning who can ride together.

    Planning your day

Getting there early can leave more time for repeat rides before crowds grow. Weekdays may offer a quieter visit. Tickets in advance are recommended, and the park has lockers, restrooms and changing facilities. Towels are available for a fee, so factor that into your plans.

Food is sold in the park, including at The Dhow & Lagoon Kitchen, and visitors have reported enjoying the meals. If you would rather bring snacks, check the park’s current rules before packing them. The park has free and paid parking options, and wheelchair-accessible entrances, restrooms and parking.
