    Wafi City

Explore Wafi City in Dubai for Egyptian-inspired architecture, detailed ceilings, shops and cafés, plus the immersive light and art experience at AYA Universe.

Wafi City is a shopping and leisure complex on Oud Metha Road in Dubai, known for Wafi Mall’s Egyptian-inspired design. Look up at the decorated ceilings and take time to notice the carved details and stained glass as you walk through. The mall has shops, cafés and restaurants, along with a supermarket, pharmacy, cinema and food court. Compared with Dubai’s larger, busier malls, it offers a quieter setting for browsing or meeting friends. AYA Universe, an immersive light and art experience, is also inside the mall.

    Egyptian-inspired details

Wafi Mall is the main shopping destination within Wafi City. Its Egyptian-inspired architecture sets it apart from the modern style found in many Dubai malls. Look for the carved details, stained-glass windows and decorative ceilings as you move between the shops and cafés.

The design gives the mall’s interior plenty to notice beyond its retail displays. It is a good fit if you want a relaxed browse and enjoy architecture as part of a shopping stop.

    Shopping, food and other stops

Wafi Mall combines shops with cafés and restaurants, a food court and everyday services, including a supermarket and pharmacy. The complex also has VOX Cinema. For an art-focused visit, AYA Universe is inside the mall and centres on immersive light installations.

Tomo, at Raffles Dubai within the Wafi City complex, serves classic Japanese dishes in an old-school setting. It is a separate restaurant stop from the mall’s food court, so consider it if you are planning a sit-down meal.
